And with our new call-ahead system, you can actually call or text to let us know you’re on your way to the clinic. You’ll automatically be put “in line” in our virtual waiting room, which makes the treatment process even faster.

If you’re unsure about whether you should come to South Tampa Immediate Care for asthma attack treatment or go to the emergency room, look for the following signs:

• Go to the ER if you are having an asthma attack and are unable to talk, walk or stand, or are losing color in your face.

• Head to South Tampa Immediate Care if you’re experiencing mild coughing, wheezing, chest tightness, or shortness of breath.

If you arrive at our clinic and we determine that emergency treatment is warranted, our staff will immediately provide you with a referral to one of three nearby emergency rooms. We are conveniently located at 602 South Howard Avenue, and are close to Tampa General, Memorial Hospital, and St. Joseph’s Hospital.
